Fiery Truck Accident on I-20 Ruined Melons

A truck accident on I-20 was caused when the 18-wheeler's brakes caught fire.

The Texas Department of Public Safety official stated that the truck was covered in flames, which ended up ruining 44,000 lbs of cantaloupe and honeydew melons being transported from California.

The truck driver tried to pull over when he realized that his trailer was on fire, but the flames got worse. It took firefighters approximately 2 hours to extinguish the flames.

No other vehicles were involved and no injuries were reported.
