Truck Accident Leaves Cows Running Wild
On Tuesday, November 27, 2007, police arrived at the scene of a truck accident involving dozens of cows.
The accident took place on I-65 and Highway 840 in Peytonsville. The tractor trailer was transporting 84 cows and calves when it overtunred. Two of the animals died in the accident.
The officials who arrived at the accident spent most of the morning trying to rescue the cows. Two of the cows managed to escape the overturned truck and ran around close to the exit ramp near Highway 840.
