Fire Truck and SUV Cause Fatal Crash in Baltimore
In the early hours on Sunday, December 9, 2007, 3 people were killed and 4 people were injured after an SUV crashed with a fire truck that was responding to an emergency call.
The fire truck was driving northbound on Park Heights Avenue when it was responding to a call about smoke in a building when the accident happened. The SUV was traveling eastbound on Clarks Lane.
The 3 passengers of the SUV, 2 men and a woman, were cut out of the vehicle before they were taken to the hospital. They were later pronounced dead.
Though the roads were slick at the time of the accident, authorities have not confirmed if weather was a factor. The accident is still under investigation.
