Tractor Trailer Accident Critically Injures Teens

On Wednesday, October 17, 2007, two teens were critically injured when their vehicle crashed into a tractor trailer during heavy rains on I-70.

The two girls, Anna Nuby of Prairie Village and Mary Bigby of Kansas City, were trapped in their car after the accident.

The accident report stated that Nuby began to hydroplane and lost control of her car as she was trying to change lanes. Her car hit the barrier wall and then collided with the tractor trailer.

Both girls are in critical condition.
