Driver Escapes from Fiery I-70 Crash

A fiery tractor trailer accident closed the westbound lanes of I-70 during the early morning hours of October 19, 2007.

The accident was caused when truck had a flat tire and veered into the guardrail and rolled onto its right side. The truck was carrying general freight and everything burned.

The driver escaped the fire uninjured. Because the accident was caused by equipment, the truck driver will not be charged.
