Three killed and Many Injured in Arkansas Bus Crash

On Sunday, November 25, 2007, a passenger bus crashed into a pickup truck and a tractor trailer in northeastern Arkansas. The accident resulted in 3 deaths.

The bus was traveling westbound on I-40 around 10:00pm when it veered across the median and into the eastbound lanes. According to the state police, they bus crashed into an oncoming pickup truck, which resulted in the tractor trailer slamming into the bus.

The driver of the pickup truck, Danny Okurily, and 2 bus passengers were killed in the accident. Many other passengers were injured. The bus driver, Felix Tapia, and the tractor trailer driver, David Rice, suffered minor injuries.
